e-Architects

Description: The service enables individuals to submit various requests to the Croatian Chamber of Architects, which include membership in the Chamber in various forms of Directories, Records, etc. The service also enables foreign architects to submit Requests for registration for temporary/occasional performance of work in the Republic of Croatia, renewal of requests, submission of requests for registration in the Register of Authorized Foreign Architects, requests for recognition of foreign professional qualifications.

Competent authorities: Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets and the Croatian Chamber of Architects.

  • Necessary conditions for the e-Service to work properly:
  • Proof
  • Proof of acquired educational qualification (diploma proving that he/she has completed an appropriate undergraduate and graduate university study or an integrated undergraduate and graduate university study in the field of architecture..." should be "proof of acquired educational qualification (diploma proving that he/she has completed an appropriate undergraduate and graduate university study or an integrated undergraduate and graduate university study in the field of architecture and has acquired the professional title of professional specialist engineer if he/she has acquired at least 300 ECTS credits during his/her entire study, or that he/she has acquired an appropriate level of education in the field of architecture in another, specially prescribed manner).
  • Proof of professional qualifications (licenses, authorizations to work in a regulated profession, authorized architect) necessary for performing the relevant professional tasks of the architectural profession
    confirmation that the applicant is not under disciplinary proceedings and that no prohibition on practicing has been issued against him - usually this information is contained in the proof of license and is valid in the same way as for licenses.
  • Proof of acquired educational qualification (secondary school certificate for architectural technician)
    certificate of passing the professional exam for performing construction work - participant in construction / spatial planning work.
  • Proof of authorization in the country from which it comes, issued by the competent authority that issues authorization to practice a regulated profession.
  • Proof of business establishment in the EEA state (proof of the existence of a legal entity), i.e. a certificate confirming that in a contracting state of the EEA, he performs design work and/or professional supervision of construction as a responsible person in the architectural profession.
  • Proof of formal qualifications referred to in point 5.7.1 of Annex V and point 6 of Annex VI of Directive 2005/36/EU and Directive 2013/55/EU.
  • Certificate of compliance of the qualification with Directive 2005/36/EU.
  • Birth certificate, or certificate of citizenship.
  • Proof of change of surname.
  • PIN (Croatian, Osobni identifikacijski broj - OIB): procedure does not require the user's PIN (OIB).
