When is the SDG service used?
The SDG service "Diploma Recognition" is used when a citizen of another EU Member State wishes to undergo the procedure of recognition of his or her diploma before a graduate study for the purpose of applying for admission to a graduate study in Croatia. With the help of the eIDAS Regulation, EU citizens can use their national electronic identification cards to access this online service in Croatia. The aim of this SDG service is to simplify the recognition of undergraduate foreign educational qualifications for the purpose of admission to a graduate study in Croatia, by reducing the administrative burden and facilitating digital identification and submission of the necessary documents.

Example:
A citizen of the European Union, a natural person residing in a Member State, finds a graduate study program at the University of Slavonski Brod that wishes to enroll in by searching for information on the "Studij.hr" portal. On the same portal, he will learn that he is required undergo the procedure for recognizing his undergraduate degree. Instead of creating a new account, he will use his national electronic ID card via the eIDAS system for secure registration. When submitting documents, the portal offers him the option to electronically collect his diploma via OOTS, with his consent, thus simplifying the recognition procedure. After submitting his diploma, the person registers for the desired graduate studies.
