18. Registration of employees with compulsory pension and insurance schemes
Description: Under this procedure, competent authorities are required to accept notifications filed by employers relating to contracts with employees and other relevant evidence in digital form. Users (employers) have to receive a confirmation of the registration (a confirmation that the employee has been actually insured) which often takes the form of a social security number, also in an electronic way.
Competent authority: Croatian Pension Insurance Institute.

When is the SDG service used?
This SDG service is used when an employer who is an EU/EEA citizen, holding an OIB, wishes to receive a digital confirmation that the employee/insured person is registered in mandatory pension insurance.
Example:
An Austrian citizen registered as an employer in the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO) system through the SDG procedure "Registration of employees in the mandatory pension and insurance fund" is recognized by the system as a cross-border user and delivered the Notification of commencement of insurance (eM-1P) in PDF format for the employee/insured.

Necessary conditions for the e-Service to work properly:
- Proof: none.
- PIN (Croatian, Osobni identifikacijski broj - OIB): procedure requires the user's PIN (OIB).
