When should the SDG service be used?
This SDG service should be used when an EU/EEA citizen, holding an OIB, wishes to apply for an old-age pension, early old-age pension, disability pension or pre-retirement benefits (e.g. survivor's pension).
Example:
A citizen of the Republic of Slovenia who had a lifetime employment in Croatia, but now resides in Slovenia and meets the requirements for an old-age pension, wishes to apply for a Croatian pension. Through the SDG service "Receiving pension and pre-retirement benefits from mandatory funds", this citizen can apply electronically to the HZMO, without having to come to Croatia.
It is done by logging in to the e-Citizens portal using eIDAS credentials from Slovenia. HZMO e-service is then found for applying for a pension and filling out an online form with personal data. Requested data is provided, with the necessary documents (e.g. proof of citizenship, birth certificate, work book, bank confirmation with foreign currency account number, birth certificates for children) attached in digital form.
After submitting the electronic application, a citizen of the Republic of Slovenia receives a confirmation of receipt.
