Platform for cross-border evidence exchange (Once-Ony-Technical-System)

The OOTS platform enables cross-border exchange of evidence electronically in the cases described in
Annex II of the Single Digital Gateway Regulation.

When using electronic services, citizens and economic entities can request the provision of evidence directly from the competent bodies of another Member State (cross-border exchange of evidence) by applying the ‘Once-Only’ principle. The purpose of these documents is to provide the necessary information to individuals involved in the integration of e-services and data sources (evidence) on the OOTS platform.

The target group is all the stakeholders in cross-border data exchange within the framework of REGULATION (EU) 2018/1724 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND THE COUNCIL of 2 October 2018 on the establishment of a single digital gateway to access information, procedures, assistance services and problem-solving, and amending Regulation (EU) No 1024/2012 (hereinafter referred to as the SDG Regulation). Understanding the document requires an understanding of the SDG Regulation, and for some documents technical knowledge in the domain of electronic interconnection of information systems.
